Following an extensive teaching career, Kathryn was admitted to the Supreme Court of South Australia, the Supreme Court of the Northern Territory and the High Court of Australia in 2009. With over 10 years of experience across a range of matters, Kathryn now specialises in Criminal Law, Wills, Estates and Guardianship and Administrative Law. Kathryn is a member of a panel of solicitors who regularly represent clients at the South Australian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (SACAT) for reviews of decisions in the original review and internal review jurisdictions.
Kathryn appears frequently in the criminal jurisdiction of the Adelaide and suburban Magistrates Courts, including Youth Courts and specialised Courts, such as the Treatment Intervention Court, Drug Court, Family Violence Court and Nunga Courts. Kathryn regularly appears in the District Court and on occasions in the Supreme Court and Federal Circuit Court. Kathryn also supports and assists vulnerable clients with mental health problems through the appropriate pathways in the Courts.
